ABOUT REGESTARA
Regestara uses the criteria you provide to assemble lists of professionals or firms that may be able to help when you experience or witness wrongdoing.
- When Regestara May Be Used
You may use Regestara when you are seeking professional help after experiencing or witnessing wrongdoing.
The wrongdoing may be reported, alleged, investigated, charged, adjudicated, or otherwise documented.
Regestara does not determine whether wrongdoing occurred or decide guilt, liability, credibility, victim or witness status, or the merits of an allegation, investigation, charge, claim, or proceeding.
- What You Provide
You tell Regestara:
- what kind of professional or firm you need;
- what criteria matter to you; and
- enough context to understand the request.
- What Regestara Does
Regestara reviews the criteria you provide, researches available information, identifies professionals or firms that meet those requirements, and assembles the results into a list.
Regestara does not rank, recommend, endorse, select, refer, negotiate with, retain, or supervise professionals or firms.
- The List
Regestara delivers your list without Regestara branding, logos, or other attribution identifying Regestara as the source or preparer.
The list is prepared for your informational use based on the criteria you provide. Regestara branding is not needed for that purpose. Leaving it off also helps avoid suggesting that Regestara endorses the professionals or firms listed, is affiliated with them, or has a role in what you decide to do with the list afterward.
If you share the list with someone else, the list itself does not state that Regestara researched, assembled, prepared, or provided it.
Leaving Regestara branding off the list does not mean Regestara’s involvement is being hidden or that it will remain unknown. It does not mean the list is confidential or anonymous, or that anyone has agreed to keep Regestara’s involvement secret. Regestara cannot control what you share separately, what someone else may already know, or what they may independently learn about how the list was prepared.
- After You Receive the List
You decide whether to research further, make contact, request a consultation, discuss terms, retain someone, or take no further action.
Regestara does not participate in those decisions or resulting professional relationships.
Regestara may decline a request if it appears intended to help someone carry out, hide, continue, or avoid responsibility for wrongdoing attributed to that person. Regestara does not decide whether the wrongdoing actually occurred.
